Job summary

Tom Wood Nissan is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join a high-performing service team. You’ll perform inspections, diagnose issues, and repair vehicles to exacting standards while maintaining complete service records.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with service advisors and customers. Training, growth opportunities, and a supportive work culture are core to the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• ASE certifications or OEM training preferred (not required).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with shop equipment (alignment systems, tire machines, diagnostic tools, AC service equipment).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential issues early.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems with accuracy.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and recommendations.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, tools, and repair techniques.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds manufacturer standards.
