Job summary

Gold Standard Staffing is seeking a dependable Quality Inspector to inspect automotive axles, splines, and components for conformance to customer specs and quality standards.

You will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, plug/ring gauges, and height gauges, documenting results and communicating issues to the team. Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred; must work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience performing visual inspections for defects and dimensional checks.
• Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect automotive axles, splines, and related components for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform visual inspections for defects such as burrs, surface imperfections, and cracks.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and height gauges.
• Record inspection results on sheets or computer systems and communicate quality issues to teams.
• Identify defective or non-conforming parts and segregate them from good product.
