Job summary

Group 1 Collision Center in Houston is seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our service team. You will remove, replace, and repair windshields and other glass, ensuring safety‑critical workmanship and a quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of glass installation/repair experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and basic ADAS knowledge; ASE certification is a plus. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on automotive glass installation/repair experience.
• Willingness to train in ADAS calibration.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training a plus.
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace windshields and rear/side glass on various makes/models.
• Diagnose chips, cracks, and minor damage; perform repairs using standard techniques.
• Perform ADAS calibrations (static/dynamic) after glass replacement as needed.
• Prepare, clean, and prime glass and pinch weld areas for a secure seal.
• Apply urethane and adhesives per manufacturer cure times and safety guidelines.
• Document repair orders and communicate with service advisors about status and parts issues.
