Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Durham, NC area. You will use state-of-the-art equipment to align tires and wheels, and perform related automotive services including inspections, oil changes, and tire repairs.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of tire-related experience or training; state inspection license is preferred. We offer competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent demonstration of ability

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure tire wear is minimized and vehicles travel straight
• Perform state-mmandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as part of service duties
• Complete other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed
• Support customers with service recommendations and project clean work area
