Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Durham, NC area. You will align tires and wheels using the latest equipment, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

The position includes state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other automotive services. Competitive weekly pay and a strong benefits package await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• State inspection license preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and lift items over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and wheels, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs.
• Perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure customer satisfaction.
