Job summary

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Body Shop Painter for the Dayton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location. The Painter refinish vehicles safely and efficiently, achieving a fit and finish that meets or exceeds factory standards.

The role requires previous painting experience, valid licensing, and relevant certifications (ICAR/ASE/OSHA). Relocation assistance may be available and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of painting experience required.
• Certifications: state/OSHA, ICAR and ASE or in progress.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles as they enter the paint shop to ensure prior standards are met.
• Communicate any hidden or missed damage to Body Shop Manager.
• Operate basic spray equipment and hand tools for refinishing.
• Prime surfaces and mix/label materials for each job.
• Check color match and spray test panels before spraying.
• Perform buffing and ensure spray operations and masking are completed.
• Keep paint booth clean and tools accounted for.
