Job summary

Martin Automotive Group seeks a Body Shop Painter at our Dayton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location to refinish vehicles safely and efficiently, achieving factory-like finish. The role requires two years of painting experience and valid driver’s license, plus OSHA, ICAR and ASE certifications or ongoing training.

You will inspect, prep, color-match, buff, and help with final assembly while maintaining a clean, organized shop environment. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior painting experience.
• Must hold OSHA, ICAR and ASE certifications or be in the process.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect every vehicle entering the paint shop.
• Communicate with Body Shop Manager about hidden damage not on the Work Order.
• Prime surfaces and mix materials for jobs.
• Ensure color match and test spray panels before spraying.
• Maintain paint booth cleanliness and organize supplies.
• Prepare vehicle for final assembly after painting.
