Job summary

All World Machinery in Roscoe, SD is seeking an Assembly Technician - Workholding to finalize fixture builds and verification so each unit ships ready to operate.

You will read prints, perform fit-up, bend tubing, run functional tests, and coordinate with Inspection and Engineering to ensure accuracy and quality. This hands-on role requires 2–4 years of precision assembly experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets drawings and schematics to communicate fit-ups.
• 2–4 years in precision assembly, fixture build, or machining.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures after inspection sign-off; support dimensional and functional checks as needed.
• Bend tubing for hydraulic/pneumatic components and complete precise fit-up to prints.
• Use a knee mill, surface grinder, and lathe to adjust parts to tolerance.
• Redline drawings to communicate corrections to Engineering.
• Conduct functional testing (cycle tests, clamping force, leak checks).
