Job summary

Hendrickson in Mount Vernon, MO, is seeking a Production Assembly worker responsible for using pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products per specifications, inspect parts, and support all aspects of the assembly process.

You will interpret production schedules, perform quality checks, engage in safety programs, and report daily production data. This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime in a non-temperature-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen.
• Must follow safety practices.
• Overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• All other duties as assigned.
