Job summary

Durex Manufacturing in Cary, IL seeks a Precision Assembly Technician for a full-time on-site role. You will assemble components to meet engineering specs, inspect builds for quality, and keep the work area organized and safe.

You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit team, hit daily targets, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Prior assembly experience is a plus and OSHA 10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort with basic shop math and measurements.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to meet engineering specifications and blueprint requirements.
• Inspect each build and perform quality checks to maintain top-tier standards.
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and efficient.
• Coordinate with teammates to hit daily production targets.
• Flag issues promptly to supervisors and help resolve them.
• Engage in training and continuous improvement activities.
