Job summary

MAAG Reduction Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble our family of equipment, including Pelletizers, Pulverizers, Water Baths, Air Knives, Pumps, and Color Mixers, with a focus on on‑time delivery. The job emphasizes quality workmanship and safety in a Kent, Ohio factory setting.

Candidates should read blueprints, measure with micrometers, and understand pneumatic and hydraulic basics. The role requires physical fitness, weekend/overtime flexibility, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets assembly drawings, blueprints and layout drawings and electrical prints.
• Knowledge of measuring with micrometers and feeler gauges and understanding tolerances.
• Understanding of pneumatic circuits, cylinders, valves, regulators and controls.
• Knowledge of threaded and welded pipe, valves and fittings and related hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overhead as needed; physical fitness required.
• Documents labor hours and reports material discrepancies; uses logs and forms.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment such as Pelletizers, Pulverizers, Water Baths, Pumps and more as directed.
• Read assemblies, follow wiring layouts and ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Operate overhead cranes and lift heavy components with proper safety procedures.
• Participate in team continuous improvement and hazardous area safety practices.
