Job summary

Maag Reduction Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in Kent, OH to assemble Maag gear pumps, pelletizers, pulverizers, and related equipment. The role emphasizes 100% on-time delivery and safe work practices in a factory setting.

You will interpret drawings, measure with micrometers, work with pneumatics and electrical wiring, and lift up to 50 pounds. Onsite work, with potential for overtime and weekend coverage, is required.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets assembly drawings, blueprints and layout drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring with micrometers, feeler gauges and tolerances.
• Knowledge of pneumatic circuits, cylinders, valves, regulators and controls.
• Knowledge of threaded and welded pipe, valves and fittings, and related hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overhead.
• Documents labor hours and production records.
• Assists with electrical wiring and device terminations.
• Participates in continuous improvement and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Measures with micrometers and gauges and checks tolerances.
• Sets up and operates pneumatic components and electrical devices.
• Lifts and positions parts; works from elevated positions as needed.
• Documents hours and material usage; reports discrepancies.
• Runs conduit, mounts boxes, pulls wires, and terminates wiring.
• Participates in team improvement projects and daily meetings.
