Job summary

Oatey is seeking a manufacturing assembler in Shakopee, MN, to read SOPs and assemble components for plumbing products. You will follow the daily production schedule, prepare materials, and set up tools and equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math and reading/writing skills, and the ability to operate machinery. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, along with accuracy in measuring and the ability to read blueprints or learn.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOPs.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
