Job summary

Oatey is seeking an assembly-focused team member in Shakopee, Minnesota to support manufacturing of plumbing products. You will read SOPs, assemble components, and maintain daily build schedules in a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidates have basic math and clear communication skills, plus 1–2 years in manufacturing. Compensation spans $15.71–$24.35 per hour with comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
