Job summary

Elliott Equipment Company in Omaha, Nebraska is hiring an Assembly Mechanic to interpret mechanical drawings, install components on Booms, Turrets and Outriggers, and assemble equipment to exact specifications. You will use measuring tools, inspect parts, and document work in compliance with standards.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld symbols.
• Installs accessories parts on Booms, Turrets, Outriggers.
• Installs hoses, winches, and cables.
• Use of measuring tools and precision instruments.
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Builds/modifies equipment per specifications.
• Maintain workplace safety and housekeeping.
• Attend to repairs per procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; support continuous improvement.
• Must have good attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
