Job summary

Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble quality pressure/flow controllers on a fast-paced production line at our Tucson facility.

You will follow build-of-materials procedures and specifications to produce units that meet daily production goals and quality standards. The ideal candidate has basic skills with small hand tools, enjoys a competitively paced work environment, and is motivated to contribute to high-quality scientific instruments used across multiple

Qualifications

• General mechanical knowledge and understanding of small hand tools.
• General computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Order Operation software).
• Production requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic and mechanical components according to order specifications.
• Read and understand documents such as BOMs, assembly procedures, and part files.
• Sharpen and maintain tools and keep a clean work environment.
• Work in a paced environment to meet daily production goals.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and meet deadlines.
• Maintain reliability by staying on task and managing time wisely.
