Job summary

Ingersoll Rand’s Milton Roy team in Ivyland, PA seeks an experienced assembler. You will turn drawings and work orders into tested assemblies, using hand, pneumatic, and power tools. Expect to work with cranes/hoists, perform tube bending and soldering, inspect for quality, and conduct functional tests while maintaining inventory flow.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mechanical assembly, strong troubleshooting, and good communication. The role is on-site on 1st shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in mechanical assembly or similar high-velocity operations.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies per work orders, BOMs, and drawings.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools; use cranes and hoists safely.
• Perform tube bending and soldering when required.
• Inspect finished units for quality and spec conformance; run functional tests.
• Maintain material flow by monitoring inventory and submitting requests.
• Adhere to safety and PPE protocols.
