Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Ivyland site is seeking a reliable assembler to join the production team. You will assemble, inspect, and package components on the assembly line, collaborating with teammates to meet quality and delivery targets.

The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, reading blueprints, and using various tools. 1st shift Monday–Friday with occasional overtime; direct hire with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical, assembly or other fast paced operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions.
• Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Complete assembly tasks using hand, pneumatic and power tools; may include tube bending and soldering.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specs.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies.
• Monitor and request materials as needed for assembly.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Assembly team. This role will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging products on an assembly line or independently in a manufacturing facility. Assembler works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions
• Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Complete assembly tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); Responsibilities may also include specialized work such as tube bending and soldering
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies
• Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED)
• 2+ years of mechancial, assembly or other fast paced operations

Key Competencies

• Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to perform varied and complex tasks

Preferences

• Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift
• Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
• General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA no travel.
