Job summary

ProMach is seeking a talented equipment/machine Assembler in Deer Park, NY. You will read engineering prints, plan assemblies, and expertly assemble complex mechanical units, ensuring precise alignment, calibration, and testing before shipment.

The role requires 3–4 years’ experience as a machinery assembler, along with strong math, measurement, and reading of drawings. A High School degree is required, with a technical degree preferred; safety and quality are emphasized throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; technical degree or training preferred.
• 3–4 years’ experience as a machinery assembler.
• Strong reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read engineering prints, schematics, and manuals to determine necessary assembly.

Responsibilities

• Plan assembly procedures to ensure efficient progress.
• Assemble complex mechanical units requiring precision and accuracy.
• Position, align, and level sub-assemblies and components; integrate operations.
• Test machines using prescribed methods to verify performance before shipment.
• Inspect parts for machining finish and conformance to tolerances; use precision gauges.
