Job summary

United Precision Corporation (UPC) seeks an Assembly Technician in Production to fabricate components and assemblies of moderate to high complexity, with guidance from Engineering and Production Management. The role manages raw materials, builds sub-assemblies by hand, and performs inspections throughout fabrication.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of manufacturing experience and familiarity with hazardous materials (HAZMAT).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with high-precision equipment.
• Experience with ITAR/compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies by hand and with a hot press.
• Maintain stock of raw materials and components.
• Perform high-level inspections throughout fabrication.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain delivery schedules.
• Handle delicate parts and manage time-sensitive processes.
