Job summary

Our client is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a precision manufacturing team in North Kingstown, RI. The role focuses on assembling high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products, verifying dimensions with precision equipment, and packaging finished goods for shipment.

You will read blueprints, work with a skilled team, and contribute to safety and quality improvements. The position offers a 2nd shift (with initial training on 1st shift), a $21 hourly wage, and opportunities to gain

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work under general supervision and support team efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products according to detailed specifications.
• Crate and package finished products for shipment.
• Utilize blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and operate a variety of precision measuring and checking equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
