Southern Specialties in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a 1st Shift Assembly Technician for our climate-controlled facility. Join a team that builds high-quality sheet metal products requiring care, precision, and pride in your work.

You will read blueprints, follow job packets, and use hand and power tools while helping ensure safety and quality standards. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a manufacturing assembly environment.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or job packets to understand fit and assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing great work.
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions related to safety, quality, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by following job packets, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools and power tools like drills, screwdrivers, and rivet guns.
• Check your work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
• Keep your work area clean and organized to help the team work efficiently.
• Work closely with teammates and supervisors to meet daily goals and deadlines.
• Help with final product inspections, packaging, and shipping when needed.
• Always follow safety rules and company policies.
