Job summary

Air Distribution Limited in Sanford, NC is seeking a reliable warehouse worker to follow written and verbal work instructions and prepare parts for shipment. You will gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, and position items using templates and measurements.

Your duties include assembling components, verifying dimensions, maintaining safe, clean work areas, managing supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting actions to support production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Obtain work instructions from supervisor.
• Work from written and verbal instructions, purchase orders, invoices, delivery slips, and similar records.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Help maintain the housekeeping of all Koch Filter location warehouses and building grounds.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment, incorrect orders, damaged items, shortages, and refer questionable situations to the supervisor.
• Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S.
