Job summary

NSK Americas, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing/assembly associate to prepare parts for packing in the grease and bag area and assist with packing as needed. You will assemble components per specifications, using hand and power tools and measurement devices to ensure precision.

Attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude are essential, along with teamwork and reliability to maintain a safe, organized work environment and support lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred, forklift experience is a plus.
• Comfort using common hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Able to follow detailed work instructions and ensure accuracy.
• Basic understanding of how mechanical systems fit and function.
• Works well with others and communicates effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Reliable with consistent attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for packing in the grease and bag area.
• Assemble components according to specifications following SOPs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for precise assembly.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and completeness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
