Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a skilled machine operator to operate manual to automatic assembly and testing equipment in a safe, efficient manner at our SC facility. You will ensure production rates meet quality specifications and adhere to Hubbell's Quality Operating Principles.

Responsibilities include verifying work-orders, ensuring materials are ready, calibrating equipment, and completing daily HR-related documentation while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good communication, reading and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machines safely and efficiently.
• Assure machines produce quality parts at production rates.
• Produce parts according to customer specifications using Quality Operating Principles.
• Confirm work-order is correct and materials are on hand.
• Set up equipment and calibrate testing devices; ensure accuracy of equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork including HRxHR charts, counting and packing parts.
• Maintain safety, quality, production and 5S housekeeping standards.
