Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing) required.

Responsibilities

• Works on processes within assigned department, including insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and use of hand tools.
• Cuts materials to precise dimensions using a tape measure and checks against spec sheets for accuracy.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Performs bench-type assemblies using hand tools and pneumatic/electronic tools as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of mechanical, material, or safety issues.
• Attaches labels and tags to products and packages.
• Follows standard work methods and SOPs.
• Packages finished goods and places them on pallets for shipment.
