Job summary

TE Connectivity's TEMPORARY ASSEMBLY OPERATOR I on 1st shift (6am–2:30pm, Mon–Fri) will assemble and test electronic and mechanical components following established drawings and SOPs. Candidates should have soldering experience, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read manufacturing drawings.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to 5S, and a continuous improvement mindset. Temporary position with opportunities for skill development within TE’s manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, preferably soldering and assembly.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Degree or cert in Mechatronics/electronics tech is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and SOPs/OMS.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per standard work instructions and drawings.
• Test electronic and mechanical parts with emphasis on precision and quality.
• Operate microscopes and use small hand tools for fine assembly.
• Maintain 5S in work areas and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
