Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred in electronics/mechanical assembly or high-speed equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a team to meet production goals including cycle times, takt time, and quality targets.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and prepare simple production reports.
• Basic math skills and good manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a plant environment.
• Sufficient reading/writing ability to follow instructions and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Follow operator instruction sheets and verbal instructions to perform operations.
• Check products and component dimensions with indicators and gauges as described in procedures or work instructions.
• Change simple parts and fixtures to facilitate changeover of product types.
• Visually and manually check for defects in product or workmanship.
• Input data daily to maintain charts and reports to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, material control, and sales.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area utilizing the 5S policy in all aspects of processes, procedures and daily activities.
• Comply with work instructions and procedures to ensure manufacture of products meeting quality standards.
