Job summary

ES MFG in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our production team. You will assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications and quality standards, working with teammates to keep lines moving and meet safety requirements.

The role offers two shifts (2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am on Sundays-Thursday) with weekly pay and a $2.50/hr increase after contract period plus benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and blueprints accurately.
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to use handheld tools and equipment safely.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working order.
Conduct quality checks on finished products, identifying any defects and reporting them to supervisors.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to optimize the assembly process and improve production efficiency.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of assembly tasks performed.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
