Wabtec is hiring a Production Operator in Lexington, TN. Starting pay rate is $22.00 per hour, with 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM) and 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM) available. You will assemble components per blueprints, use hand tools, and help meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. Training covers safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsabilités

• Assemble components according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Position, align, and fasten parts using hardware.
• Perform assembly across multiple departments (Assembly, CAC, Roll, Fin/Tube, Cuprobraze, AALS).
• Install and secure components to meet production specs.
• Remove small quantities of metal using hand tools to fit and align.
• Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
• Operate hand tools, hammers, roller swagers, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and team production goals.
