Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to stock and pull parts according to a production schedule, using computer systems to record inventory transactions, pull prints, and run production reports.

You will perform cycle counts, label and package parts, verify weights and counts, and maintain safety and housekeeping in the Assembly Department while coordinating with setup personnel, planners and teammates to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Good basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Physically pulls parts from inventory to keep machines running and collaborates with setup people, planners, and production reports to meet delivery goals.
• Uses software to make inventory transactions, pull parts, and print pick slips as needed.
• Performs cycle counts and runs production reports; maintains accurate transactions and labeling.
• Maintains good housekeeping and safety in the Assembly Department; communicates via email and notes.
• Reads and follows work instructions and participates in continuous improvement activities.
