Job summary

Tramec Sloan – TS Iola Division in Iola, KS, is seeking an Assembler to perform workstation or line-assembly operations, building components into a complete product. The role requires basic reading, math, and the ability to follow instructions.

Shift is Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm, with variation based on production needs. The job includes routine maintenance, final assembly, quality checks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace under our Quality System.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform workstation or line-assembly operations to assemble components into a complete product.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and operate machines in the department.
• Conduct final assembly and in-process quality inspection of the end product.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow the 5S process.
• Assist with inventory counts and adhere to the Quality System requirements.
