Job summary

The Cook Group is seeking an Assembler for the Vandergrift facility to follow procedures for product assembly, cleaning, labeling and packaging in a controlled environment. You will fabricate parts, perform inspections, document activities, and operate equipment while adhering to the quality system and safety rules.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and be able to read specifications and use measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write and understand product documentation and specification drawings.
• Have the written skills to accurately complete paperwork.
• Ability to use measuring devices and gauges.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States, with no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow specifications for product being manufactured.
• Fabricate raw materials into specified products using mechanical/manual techniques.
• Perform inspections and testing as required.
• Accurately complete necessary documentation.
• Follow all quality system documents and maintain safety requirements.
• Operate related equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Identify and report possible preventative and corrective actions.
