Job summary

The Cook Vandergrift facility is seeking an Assembler to follow documented specifications for product assembly, fabrication, cleaning, labeling and equipment operation. You will perform inspections, document results, and maintain quality system compliance in a controlled environment with gowning requirements.

Responsibilities include reading specs, using measuring tools, completing paperwork, and assisting in new product introductions, while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand product documentation and specifications.
• Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug screening.
• Familiarity with measuring devices and gauges is required.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a computer for data entry.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow specifications for product being manufactured.
• Fabricate raw materials into specified products using mechanical and manual methods.
• Perform inspections and/or testing as required and document results.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and follow quality system documents.
• Operate equipment and assist in introducing new or improved products.
• Provide input to supervisor to improve department efficiency.
