Job summary

Addison Group in the Naperville area is seeking a dependable Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing organization. This hands-on role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components, completing finished products, and ensuring work meets established quality and safety standards.

Work in a team-oriented environment; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 1 year in assembly or related fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to meet pre-employment screening requirements.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies according to established procedures.
• Perform final assembly of finished products.
• Clean, inspect, and package completed products for shipment.
• Assemble additional products and components as needed.
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production procedures.
• Identify and report defective materials, unusual conditions, or quality concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional production and assembly responsibilities as assigned.
