Job summary

ABB is hiring for an onsite role in Jonesboro, Arkansas. You will safely complete assembly tasks and follow blueprints, positioning parts and fastening them with various hardware to support electrical power distribution products. The job requires reading safety and operating instructions and the ability to report on information as needed.

The position is a 10‑hour shift from Monday to Thursday with overtime as required to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1–3 months related experience or training
• Able to read and understand safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures
• Able to present information to individuals or groups through reports or correspondence

Responsibilities

• Safely complete tasks and participate in team safety programs
• Position parts according to unit being assembled or follow blueprint
• Fastens parts together with bolts, washers, screws, speed, clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce
• Other duties as assigned
