Qualifications

• Must multitask and learn varying assembly requirements.
• Experience with opto-electronics and PCB components is preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with QMS standards (ISO 9001) is desirable.
• Team orientation with strong written and verbal communication is expected.
• Knowledge of ESD and 5S principles, safety awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions, BOMs and assembly drawings.
• Assemble mechanical components with hand tools safely and accurately.
• Solder cables, wires and through-hole devices within quality limits.
• Inspect products and identify non-conformances.
• Operate pass/fail test equipment and document results.
• Identify root causes and assist with process improvements.
• Support 5S initiatives and daily cycle counting.
• Perform rework when required and maintain a clean workstation.
