Job summary

Alfa Laval in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Assembler I to assemble coolers and related components according to drawings, using hand and power tools and test equipment. You will read blueprints, verify fit and finish, and support training new employees while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, basic math, and experience with manufacturing or industrial machines; forklift and overhead crane experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of professional manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math skills including ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints preferred
• Experience using industrial machines preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Overhead crane experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by following blueprints and instructions.
• Using hand and power tools to assemble components and subassemblies.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed cooler components.
• Assist Team Leader or Manager with training new employees.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot with team.
