Position Summary

Performs assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in a FDA regulated and controlled environment. Provides support to the department through advanced job knowledge, flexibility to perform various job functions, and training others.

Duties
  • Perform assembly functions using various hand tools and pneumatic presses.
  • Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report any issues related to production, parts, equipment, or processes to the Team Lead.
  • Follow Shop Practices, including proper gowning, use of PPE, and standard work procedures.
  • Participate in safety observations, idea generation, and 5S activities within the LEAN Manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure quality assurance by completing proper documentation and process monitoring.
  • Support new hires during orientation and training.
  • Work across multiple production areas within the department and across Value Streams.
  • Perform additional tasks such as operating injection molding machines, applying light cure adhesives, crimping, swaging, weaving, tying, resistance welding, and other duties as needed.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing production experience
