Position Summary

Performs assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in a FDA regulated and controlled environment.Provides support to department through advanced job knowledge, flexibility to perform various job functions and training others.

Duties

Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses.


Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.


Promote and provide a safe working environment.


Inform Team Lead of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.


Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment and following standard work.


Within LEAN Manufacturing environment, make safety observations and participate in idea generation and 5S activities.


Meet quality assurance requirements, to include completing proper paperwork, following good documentation practices and performing process monitoring.


Support new hires during the Orientation and training process.


Work in multiple production areas within the home department and across Value Streams.


May perform the following: operate injection molding machine, apply light cure adhesives, crimping, swaging, weaving, tying and resistance welding, and other duties as needed.
