Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Assembler in Abilene, TX, offering a $21.00 per hour pay rate. The role focuses on assembling components with hand and power tools, following blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency on the production line.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of manufacturing experience (preferred), and strong detail orientation. Training on safety, PPE, and equipment use will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training, certification, or an associate degree is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, technical documents, and blueprints.
• Strong basic math skills including fractions, decimals, measurements, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, parts, and finished products according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to ensure quality standards.
• Perform material handling and inventory support throughout the production process.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, document results, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
