Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembler to join a manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves assembling parts, reading blueprints, and following technical instructions to build quality products.

You’ll use hand and power tools, inspect components for fit, and maintain a clean, safe work area. A high school diploma and ability to read English are required; prior assembly experience is preferred. The position offers a 1st shift with a pay rate of $20/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, electrical, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, components, and subassemblies per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Position and align components manually or using hoists and other equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products.
• Inspect parts and materials for quality and proper fit.
• Test completed products for defects and identify issues.
• Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools.
• Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and production instructions.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision when needed.
• Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned.
