Job summary

UFP Site Built is seeking an Assembler I in Stanfield, North Carolina. The role involves fabricating component parts and assembling finished products per customer specifications. You will ensure parts are correctly sourced, parts fit together per instructions, and the product meets quality standards.

Safety and orderly work areas are required. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required) and at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products per procedures and may label/band components.
• Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup inspection Checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Participates in safety and quality programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
