Job summary

UFP Industries in Stanfield, NC seeks an Assembler I to fabricate components and assemble products per customer specifications. The role requires setting up the work area, assembling parts, and using hand tools while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include keeping the workspace clean, recording production data, and following established procedures. Candidates should be 18+, with preferred but not required high school diploma or GED and up to 6 months of manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together per instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks finished products and may cover, label, and band components.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work environment and production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Follows safety and quality procedures and participates in meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
