Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to assemble vehicle scale modules and assist with loading for shipping at our Columbus, OH facility. You will enter production and shipping data into SAP, maintain TPM records, and ensure accurate stock control while following all quality and safety guidelines.

Candidates should have experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings, be able to read blueprints, operate forklifts and cranes, and contribute to 5S/lean efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and interpret standard blueprints and other engineered documentation.
• Ability to safely operate forklift and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble vehicle scale modules and assist in loading for shipping.
• Kit assembly and packing of accessories for vehicle scale orders.
• Enter data into SAP for shipping and production activities.
• Maintain records for production orders and TPM sheets; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain stock control and pull items for orders.
• Adhere to quality and hazardous material guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
• Support 5S and lean initiatives and contribute improvement ideas.
