Job summary

Mettler-Toledo, Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler specialist to act as the first responder for Tier 1 escalations within assembly cells, troubleshoot units, and assemble systems to exact design specifications.

You will utilize SAP, COOIS and DCP, drive production toward daily goals, and mentor Assemblers while promoting safety, 5S and Lean manufacturing practices in a fast-paced environment. Join a global leader in precision instruments, contribute to quality improvements, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Strong quality focus and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• SAP knowledge is a plus; Food & Beverage industry background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first responder and SME for Tier 1 escalations within assembly cells.
• Troubleshoot units within their assigned Value Stream.
• Assemble systems according to design specifications.
• Monitor the Return to Stock (RTS) process and track parts.
• Lead daily startup meetings and conduct hands-on training for Assemblers.
• Document assembly hours and cell-floor disturbances using provided tools.
