Job summary

The Mettler-Toledo, Inc. team seeks a skilled loader and crane operator in Columbus, OH. You will load and secure scale weldments, off-load at job sites using a crane, and help install scale modules on foundations.

Reading blueprints and precise equipment placement are essential, as is safe tool use and customer-facing communication. Strong driving record, ability to travel to sites, and teamwork in field environments are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with excellent math and reading/writing ability.
• Current Class A CDL and at least 2 years of verifiable experience.
• Prior forklift/crane certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to be certified required

Responsibilities

• Load semi trailer and secure large vehicle scale weldments for transport.
• Off-load scales at various job sites using a semitrailer-mounted crane.
• Assist with installation of scale modules onto pre-constructed foundations.
• Read blueprints and determine equipment locations; use power and hand tools safely.
• Provide excellent pre-delivery and on-site customer contact.
