Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an assembler to support manufacturing of comfort units. You will mount, align, and assemble components from blueprints and instructions, set up equipment, and maintain production records to meet exact specifications.

You will follow safety guidelines, coordinate with teammates, inspect finished units for quality, and prepare packaging with manuals and warranties. The role offers shift options and competitive benefits, with hourly pay between $16 and $18.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components to completely assemble comfort units.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Visually inspect assembled products for proper alignment and functioning.
• Package units and parts with warranties and manuals and select appropriate packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace and assist with other duties as assigned.
