Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Chilton, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assembly Technician to build surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

Assemble components, fit and align parts, solder and route electrical connections, test assemblies and perform required inspections. Candidates should be comfortable using various hand and power tools, reading schematics, and recording production data in company systems. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets and schematic drawings.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and inspection equipment.
• Report lot codes and record assemblies built.
• Disassemble and replace parts, assist staging for painting as required.
• Enter information into established computer system and production logs.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component parts for products according to specifications.
• Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts; attaches hardware and seals assemblies.
• Solders, routes, and ties electrical components and calibrates units.
• Tests installed parts for leakage, continuity, and functionality; inspects assemblies.
• Cleans and lubricates parts; reworks, repairs, or replaces faulty components.
