Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand, located in Chilton, WI, is seeking Assemblers to build surface maintenance equipment per blueprints and specs. You will assemble parts, read diagrams, use hand and power tools, perform inspections, and document production data.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include testing assemblies, making adjustments, and staging parts for painting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment.
• Report lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording assemblies built.
• Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required.
• Enters information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component parts for products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, attaching hardware and sealing assembly.
• Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components and calibrates units accordingly.
• Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
• Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies and handles reworks or replacements as needed.
